once you have taken stock of what I client has, the next step is to estimate the amount of income the client will need in order to achieve his or her desired retirement lifestyle. For clients who are at or near retirement, finding the amount of income needed to to achieve the desired retirement lifestyle, is simply a matter of applying a desired replacement ratio to the clients current salary.

God is awesome! What are the chances that I would just HAPPEN to be in Gadsden the weekend that a Middle Eastern dancer happens to be visiting and teaching there? AND that I would JUST HAPPEN to be standing in the Cultural Arts Center when she got there?

AND that she and most of the students would turn out to be CHRISTIANS? DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE THAT IS? I spent three hours visiting with one of the women from the class! She is awesome, fourteen years older than me, and has such incredible faith!

Edit: And that I would just happen to have yoga pants and a tank top in the car, so that I could take the class? :)

As a registered advisor in Florida, I'll take that one step further and say that you need to assess the client's risk tolerance as well. Personally, I tend to shy away from risk assessment because people will always tell you they want maximum return with minimum risk, but it is an important consideration. :p

And by the way, Vunderlord, tell Redeemed that SoE says hi. :)

This is the type of thing I do for fun...

I think you're on to something there...
I mean, why else would she have minions? And the fictional husband thing serves as a public identity to conceal herself and her true motives...

No, no, you've got it all wrong!

I have a husband thing so I'm not lonely. :)

Doh! Ok, let me rephrase:

And the whole "fictional husband" conspiracy serves as a smokescreen to conceal her true identity and motives...

Better? :p
