UPDATE: We've discovered some issues with the script used to import member profiles over from the old site to the new site. Please continue to use the toj.cc site until we resolve these issues.

UPDATE#2: It's official! The new site at http://www.tojudah.com/ is our MAIN site now. The http://www.toj.cc will remain available, but the domain will redirect to the new site. Once the transition is complete, we'll shut down the old site and cancel our account with GearHost.

The new ToJ web site is now live at http://www.tojudah.com/ - I've set up http://www.toj.cc so the address will redirect to the new site.

If you received an e-mail like the one quoted below, your member profile has been imported to the new site:

Greetings,
Your new account with Tribe of Judah has been created for the new web site. To finalize your new account, please follow these instructions.
Go to the new web site at http://tojudah.com and click the Login button at the top, right. Use the following credentials to login.
Username: REMOVED
Password: REMOVED
Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your personal profile page. Please fill in any missing information that is required (such as Date of Birth). Also, you will need to change your password. The password supplied was randomly generated and is only valid for the first time login. It must be changed.
If you have any problems with this procedure, please contact Tek7 through the Forums or email website@tojudah.com for assistance.

Most chapter sites are currently under construction, so please bear with us while we make the transition to the new site.

The membership application is live and fully functional, so if you or a friend are looking to join ToJ, please head to http://tojudah.com/Join.aspx and submit an application.

And be sure to join me in sending a big BIG "Thank you!" to rhematom for all his hard work in building the new site and importing users from the old site to the new!

Yay new site! One that doesn't give me a false virus warning so I can actually visit it without turning AVG off :) .

Now that I see this I think there was a message in the forms about doing something with the TF2 chapter site a while back. So busy trying to do other things right now though XD.

I'm not a member of ToJ, so giving me that "Greetings" on my email with a UserID and Password is confusing and possibly a security breach. :confused:

If memory serves, you were a Tribe of Judah member several years ago. We hadn't performed a membersweep in a long, LONG time (because the last time we attempted a membersweep, we almost blew up the web server), so there's probably more than a few people receiving the automated e-mails who'll have to reach back in their memory to remember when they applied to join ToJ. :p

If you'd like us to remove your account, just send an e-mail to website@tojudah.com with your request.
 
It sounds like CorpFox received the automated e-mail and Gerbil, along with a few other staff members, had already created an account prior to the user database import.

If you didn't have an account on tojudah.com prior to today, please post a reply to let me know whether or not you received an automated e-mail (like the one quoted in the first post of this thread) today.

Sorry about that folks. My initial tests were with a smaller file and everything seemed to work ok. But something happened during the full import and not all were imported. Those that were imported were missing data. I am going to run some bigger scale tests on my local computer to try and determine what went wrong. I apologize for the delays.

EDIT: And now, a message from rhematom:
We will just need to ask people to login and check their accounts. Also, they will need to join the Chapters they want into. I recommend sending an email out to all users to login to their accounts at the new site and change their passwords. If they are unable to login or do not have a password, they can send an email top website@tojudah.com and I will manually insure they have an account and can login.
