The new season of "24" opens with a vicious bang

If you haven't hopped on the Jack Bauer bandwagon, get on now! The two hour premire started last night and another two hours lands tonight. It's absolutely insane, and even though I see way too many recycled plot elements from previous seasons, I didn't think I see two prominent characters of the last seas....well, just watch.

I thought 24 had exhausted all of its options at the close of last season, but the writers have certainly come up with an interesting and intense first two hours. I hope it doesn't let up.
 
I started watching the show beginning last season. This is one of those shows where it is so well done that it makes most other shows look amateurish. It puts you on the edge of your seat and keeps you there. I wish I had seen the previous seasons before last. It's high up on my DVR priority list.
 
My wife and I watched the DVDs of season 1 a while back, and we've watched most of season 2 on DVD. We need to finish season 2 so I can give it back to the guy I borrowed it from, and then we're going to rent and watch seasons 3 & 4. We'll end up watching season 5, but I think we'll wait until it is released on DVD.
 
Agreed, 24 is an excellent show. The sad part is that 24 is better than most MOVIES that are released, heh.

My family is watching them all from the beginning, since we think that one week is WAY too long to wait between episodes. =) So we're checking them out one-by-one from the Library. Then, by the time we finish seasons 2 and 3, we should have a decent amount of episodes saved up on our DVR.
