The Great Redeemed Gnome Run!

So for dates I'm thinking either Saturday, July 9th at around 2 or 3 ST, or Monday, July 11th at around 4 or 5 ST. Which would probably be best?

You can carry 2 noobs on a 3 person mount. I could be on my second account and carry a few of us.. but doesn't help much. Flame, also you could make a level 1 on my other account so that you are able to come along. Just a thought.
 
Thanks for the offer, but if I can be online, I'll officiate so that other people can participate. Plus, I already have a horde character. It just a matter of whether or not I tell the horde trade chat about the event.

Unexpected visit from family this weekend, staying till Wednesday. This could make complications for me getting on for the Gnome Run. If I cannot, it will be rescheduled to a later date.
 
Gnome Run has been moved to Thursday, July 14th, at 6:00 Server Time! Also, I need donations of gold so that the prize for the winner can be nice, and I'd really like not to have to chip out a big amount all by myself. Please send any gold donations to Engris. All donations appreciated, THANK YOU in advance.

Also also-- Flamethrower, since you are going to be the referee for the event, please let me know some how if you can or can't be there on Thursday at that time, and if you cannot, let me know what days would be best for you.
 
I got 1,615 from people tonight. What I'd like to do is give 2k to the winner and 500 to the second and third place people depending on how many show up. If I get more donations than that then the prizes will be bigger.
 
How about we shoot for 5k for the winner, 2k for second, and 1k for third?

I think we'll get there, and maybe bigger prizes will get more people out. Keep advertising in guild chat with those prize numbers above, and I'll make sure that we have at least that much.

I still can't believe Vartul won lol...half way to the boat in Wetlands he turned around and decided to go the other way saying, "No, I'll be different." So instead he went up to Undercity and took the zeppelin...I thought we'd never see him again!
