The Dawn of War
It is here. Some of us have been waiting over a year. We have fretted and worried. Read every scrap of information we could to get a glimpse of the coming WAR. Now the dawn of war is here. After months of beta testing and weeks of waiting this weekend the masses will see the true glory of WAR.
I, as an elder, have anticipated all of my brothers and sisters joining in this day for the glory of God. We stand in a unique place in time and history. We stand as Christians in a time when our lives, unity and diversity can speak to the entire world. We stand as a family with forces stronger than any Christian guild has ever in the history of MMO’s and possibly gaming. Some of you may know, but Redeemed in WoW was one of if not the largest Christian guild in the world. When we add our combined forces of our brothers and sisters in Tribe of Judah we are of an unparallel size for a guild of North American Christians.
We can seize this opportunity to live out the calling of Jesus Christ. We can take this opportunity to love each other, as Christ loved us. We can set aside our own desires for greed and look to the greater good of Redeemed in general, but more to the Kingdom of God. When we as a guild function with love, grace, unity and peace we are a very visible example of the church to the server world where we exist. We have a higher calling.
We can not only enjoy our time and play. We can also minster to each other. Love and pray for our common good and our shared pains. We can live in unity while living in different states, time zones and even coutries.
I, as an elder in our group, call each of us out. I call us all to live a life worthy of the cause of Jesus Christ. I ask each of you to lay aside drama and pettiness. I pray for us all to reach for love and grace. I beg of you to live as Paul asked, in unity along side our diversity.
We can do it. We can pledge to strive not for the good of our individual needs, but for the betterment of our guild which leads to the glory of Jesus Christ. People will see Redeemed and they will salute and honor us for our values and our love for each other. The bible reminds us that people will know we are Christians by our great love for one another. May this be our rally cry! May this be our strength.
Come Brothers and Sisters and join me in WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
