New IP address. I don't know why it changed.

76.228.198.24 is the server now.
 
I went down the hole with the hellstone entrance... fell and fell and fell and then nothing, haha. Fell all the way down to the bottom of the world and saw nothing.

Very interesting.
 
You could use Hamachi... then you wouldn't have to worry about the IP change. Or we can switch it to the server I have.

Sounds good to me either way we go. I really need to get digging some more...I am barely scratching the surface. :rolleyes:

You have a static IP? I guess I would lean toward that instead of having to install additional software, if you are fine with hosting it.
 
I do have a static... but not enough people to spend the time to set it up with port forwarding... so I'll do that today if we want to move it to a server.
 
Thanks for hosting it, Mordos. I bet everyone's glad to not have to keep looking for a new IP.

I'll transfer stuff from chests over to the new map on Mordos's server so we don't lose any valuables.
 
how come all the crafting areas are on bricks that hurt? (I know why they hurt, I just don't know why they're being used)

You need 20ish obsidian to make an obsidian something so it wont hurt.

As to why they are there... I dunno.

Edit: I just logged on and that's pretty nuts. Hellstone bricks (which hurt people) and spikes (which, obviously, also hurt people) then a tower with spikes on the side so you can't get to the top...

You can backup your saved maps so you don't have to keep your objects in a "safe" place. I use quotes, because... well, look at the picture below.

Edit again: Keeping a piggy bank up there is silly because piggy banks are account specific. Any piggy bank I go to on Odale, on any map, anywhere will always 1.08 platinum in it (unless I deposit or withdraw money of course). No one else can touch your money.
