Ten Most Misused Words in MMOs

Take Warhammer Online for example. Many have called it a failure, and it’s failure to retain all those impressive box sales as subscribers is not encouraging, but 300,000 subscribers is not exactly going to leave anyone at Mythic penniless.

Simply put: Failure to kill WoW is not failure.

heh

Yeah WAR seems to be epic fail to me, and I am very glad I only bought 1 of those massive collector's boxes and not more thinking I could sell them one day.

I think there is still much potential for WAR to become a great game.

Warhammer's storyline is not lacking... Mythic could create new instances for PVE (which is what it was really lacking) at all levels and they could get rid of the greater and lesser wards to make end game PVE more accessible and less reliant on RVR (though thats what the game is all about). Making city sieges into real sieges and changing the keep looting system would be nice changes too.

That could be easily done with one expansion.

Hmm interesting, I personally didn't think the problem was with content but 100% the bugs. Well that and the total letdown that was the End-Game keep instances.

The game is way too buggy, laggy and crashy. I loved all the PvE content to death but it was barley playable at times.

This unfortunately can not be fixed in an expansion. In fact them constantly working on new additions while not fixing the bugs is what killed the game in my opinion.

I was trying to deal with it all but when I saw Illya's videos of the endgame and how horribly buggy it was, with 100s of ppl screaming and swearing at the game while booted form the instance, crashing and lagging. I cried and quit that day.
