Temporary Inactivity

I will probably be pretty inactive for a little bit. We are looking at upgrading my computer, but right now it's just not doing well, and if I can get on without crashing, the lag is so bad it just stutters and I can hardly move.
 
Is this something that is just started? Have you always had decent performance and then all of a sudden, it went down the toilet? I'm thinking you could have ram issues or you just installed a ton of addons.
 
No, my computer's pretty old and was a little iffy at playing WoW to begin with. We actually think my video card is going, which is at least replaceable. It was a hand-me-down from my brother, so it wasn't even new when I got it.
 
Alright I got a new video card today and some memory, and I didn't crash logging in for the first time in a couple weeks. So far, so good...
 
Just to let you know I posted the above comment, I didn't realize I was logged onto strong fortress's account :/ oops :p
