I just found out my Dad had a severe heart attack last night, so I'm going out of town to be with my Mom. I won't be online while I'm gone. Please pray for him and my family. I'll update when I can.

Hate to bring bad news, but my Dad passed away later the day I posted the original message. We just had the funeral today, and I'll be travelling back home with my Mom, who will be living with me now. Thanks for all of the prayers, this has been a rough time.

I'll be slowly getting back in...things are chaotic here, trying to get everyone settled and adjusting to an added member of the household.

I'm glad you are able to be there for your mom, this is a hard time for her and all of you. God bless you all, may His Peace fill you, may His blessings shower down on you through this Christmas season and the New Year coming up.

Well, things are slowly getting back to "normal" now (what qualifies for normal now), so I figured I better hop back in here and post an update - it's been a long time coming.
My mom is still living with us, and we're looking for new places to live. We think we've found a couple houses for sale right next to each other that suit our needs perfectly, so we're hoping God opens that door for us. We're working out the details now to see if things will work out.
My grandmother passed away a few weeks ago as well, plus I had to go in for surgery myself, so it's been a long 6 months. But, God is good and we're getting through it. The surgery took care of what they thought was a life-altering disease, so that's another positive thing.
Anyway, thanks for all the prayers. We still need them, and it helps to know there are people praying. I don't know when or if I'll be back in Aion, but I am curious about the changes happening. I'll be lurking here and try to be better about posting.
