Hi all. ^^

Please pray that I recover from this...whatever it is. I've been experiencing intestinal discomfort, a scratchy throat, nausea, and slight headaches. Oh, and I feel like I could drink a gallon of water (or orange juice) at any given moment.

I'm familiar with this "yuckiness," let's call it, and it usually goes away after a few days. Still, Thanksgiving break is next week (w00t!), my wife and I will be traveling, and I really want to be 100% well for the trip. That, and I'd really love to play some games this weekend. ^^

So, please pray that the Lord heals me completely and, at the risk of sounding greedy, completely!

UPDATE: Two days later and the cold is still clinging on. I believe the worst of it is over as the symptoms have, for the most part, dissipated.

Other than coughing up a brown-ish loogie (sp?) this morning and a few spots of light green mucus throughout the day, my sneezes have resulted in clear mucus only.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that the muscles in my neck and shoulders have locked up. It's quite painful, I assure you.

So please keep praying, all! I want to get back to 100% before my wife and I travel to Springfield.

Praise report: Thanks to your prayers, orange juice, cranberry juice, Zicam, and a wonderful wife who helped take care of me, I'm about 95% over that nasty cold. I should be 100% after a good night's rest.

Please continue to pray for our safe travel. We plan to leave Tuesday morning and return home Friday evening.
