talon arm update

Had a 3 week checkup, arm is looking really good but.

I've gotten about as far as i can streching my arm out flat, (perminently not able to hyper extend :(

But pulling arm towards me is not gaining any ground. I've 2 weeks to get full motion back or I'll need surgery. Since insurence wont pay for physical therapy....

In a few days if i dont have 5 degrees inprovement, we are gonna have to pay for physical therapy out of our pocket ($120 for first visit, and 75-100 per visit after that), and we dont know how we are gonna pay for it if its needed.

The doctor, forced my arm 30 degrees in from 90, for 20 seconds, i almost passed out, hurt worse than breaking it.

had a 2 week checkup. Guess what? Dont need surgery, actually, she was very impressed with my progress and never seen that fast of motion be gained.

she said that if i got 25 in 1 week, i should be able to get 100% motion back including hyper extend, of voluntary movement.

No surgery and fast recovery, Woot Thang

I go back in 3 weeks for final checkup. Any the bone is almost back to normal (i.e. no extra calcification)

Well, i've gained about all I can. A few more degrees of inward motion is about all the doctor thinks I will be able to do. :D We'll see about that.

I go back at start of sept for checkup.
