Officer SOE/LoE/Where's "here"?
Ok I need some help, I am rerolling a Survivor, an Ele in NF currently. A few of you know that Survivors are my gaming passion, here's your chance to make life a challenge for someone, namely me. Choose my primary prof, and campaign, then we will see if I can actually make make rank 1, that is Survivor, we won't worry about the higher ranks it takes too long. I choose the secondary. The Legendary classes I already have are ineligible, Assassin, Paragon, and Ranger.

Just a side note, I have taken all but 2 classes to R1 or higher, and ain't gonna tell ya which ones. Also a name will be needed so all submissions will be granted some thought. Bad puns are especially welcome.

Seems to me that mesmer has taken the poll. I'd like to issue a pro survivor challenge:

Attain "Kind of a big deal" without any account-wide titles without dying. Bonus: "People Know Me" .

I'll take my own challenge on my para (3 years old, 0 deaths, level 11) or derv (yet to be created) maybe in February. Come on, where's that scythe update!

Ok the family is back home, and poll is almost closed, looks like Mes is gonna win, and the long slog through Proph. I do believe it will be a Ranger secondary. But not for the reasons you think, I want a fighting chance at Ascension later. To be honest I would have preferred NF, or Factions for the time factor involved. So now I need to decide what 'toon to reroll, or if I purchase a new character slot, as if I need 24 'toons.:p Also need to check with the clan on whether or not they would prefer a male or female member of the clan. In addition I need to come up with a perfect name if a new slot is added. So stay 'tooned.

Ok set up is done, y'all pick Prophecies so now you get to practice patience. That campaign is a long slog to r1 Survivor, especially for a Mesmer. So Little Brained Bear is a out there, and blame my other half for the name. I may write a story for back story on Little Brained, we have to see on that. But please be patient ok?

Ok as of 1400 hrs February 15, 2011 Little Brained Bear a Prophecies Mesmer is level 1 Survivor. A little dicey a few times but it is the first Prophecies Survivor. Now comes the long haul, it took 3 rerolls to get this far, now let's see if I can keep it together. And I fully expect everyone to have lost, or will lose interest from this point on. It will just be a long grind to Legendary.

Edit: Keero why did you want to see a Factions Mesmer? One would think if you can make an Assassin Legendary anything is possible.

Because the difficulty spike in Factions can get a bit hairy, so I thought maybe you would die? >.>

Legendary on assassin is a cakewalk. Crit barrage and try not to fall asleep for too long. Personally I think prophecies to be the toughest start for a survivor, simply because the attribute quests take so long to get to.

Ok for any who are still following this idiocy, Little Brained Bear made it to Indomitable Survivor 660,024 before buying it on Rihlon Refuge. Not as far as I had thought, but a respectable run nevertheless.

...and try not to fall asleep for too long...

Way back when I made it to Indomitable then the boringness got to me and I... XD. I can well understand why people like Guild Wars :) but I just can't enjoy playing on a forever flawed account so I beat my head against Legendary Survivor until GW lost all fun.

I think the key to it all is that it's supposed to be a game, and enjoyable...not work. When setting up a goal to accomplish, I try to keep this in mind and find fun ways of doing it. I doubt I'll be actively going for another survivor anytime soon, but I have to admit I've been looking and thinking, "hmmm...is there a fun way to get treasure hunter?". Cursed titles!

Raisu palace is ~1 chest a minute with a good running build, at least according to the wiki. It always has 5 chests.

Secret Lair of the Snowmen isn't bad either, since you also get tons of Dwarf points so you can work two titles at once, usually has 4-5 chests for about 10 minutes.

Those are the two fun ones I can come up with.
