As I've already told Ember, I think I'd rather be poked with sharp, rusty objects than look for a job again. But, here I am, searching for a summer job. Now don't get me wrong--I don't mind working. But searching for a job, at least for me, has been, overall, a demoralizing, dehumanizing, aggravating, and seemingly fruitless process. Of course, I worked in IT for a few years, so that might explain some of my problem...

Okay, now that I have that out of my system, I'm asking for everyone to pray that I find an enjoyable, meaningful, and well-paying job soon. I understand I'm asking for a miracle, but I also know God's capable! ^^
I'd like to move away from computers and transition into the field of journalism, but the pay is far better in IT--when I can get the work.
Also, aside from prayer, if you have any practical suggestions for summer jobs in the St. Louis area, please post them in reply. I'll be checking this thread between soul-leeching job search sessions to restore my morale.
