Is anyone going to be playing star trek online? I will probably be pre ordering it.

I'd be interested in playing the beta, but nothing short of a miracle would bring me back to playing MMOs on a long-term basis.

That being said, what I've seen of Star Trek Online looks great. Don't let my own quibbles with the MMO genre impede anyone else's enjoyment.

I love the fact you have both space battle and away missions to instances on the ground. The fact that you get to bring the redshirts along with you is fantastic.

I wont be playing this one, due to family commitments, but I will sure be envious from the sides.

I'm in the beta but am under an NDA. When January rolls around that will probably be lifted then we can discuss more.

So, I'll be in on the Beta.

ill be in OB too. I'm getting the borg officer for my pre-order bonus. Its good to see I'm not the only one here who will be playing.

I ordered from amazon too... From what I've read about them getting OB keys out, it sounds like they wait for the last possible minute to send them.

LOVE Star Trek, not sure if IM going to invest in another mmo at this time though. Maybe after it's been out for a year I'll reconsider.

I'll probably try the open beta, but I'm well and truly hooked on eve and so am not expecting to spend a ton of time on it. Though I may be surprised...
