Is anyone still playing this?

Like most veterans from the beginning, I dropped it at the combat upgrade, but I've recently gone back. It was always my favorite MMO, mostly because you can jump from class to class if you want to do so and get bored.

I love the theme.....didn't realize how much I missed it.

I played and to me the game before the NGE was/is the best MMO to date. Even Blizzard programmers that work on WOW stated that they dodged a bullet and SWG tried something that just didn't take. I tried to get back into the game about a year ago and it just wasn't the same, almost makes me cry Still looking for a MMO that can fill SWG's shoes.

Hopefully Star Wars: The Old Republic will fill the shoes of SWG. Because i agree SWG was probably one of the best MMOs ever made it was really fun and being able to explore the galaxy alot was even more fun.

I played SWG for about 3 months from day one...and I was overall pretty impressed with it until a few updates messed with the game and killed the fun... I have no interest in SWG or think it has any steam left... But I believe there is hope in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and have been keeping an eye on SWtOR for a while now...
