Specifics on switching Tailoring specs

After a bit of research, I can't tell exactly what happens when you do this...costs 150g, 20 to train the new spec, but do I keep 375 tailoring? If so, then it's a good idea, but if I drop to 350 and lose all my 350+ pattern drops, definately not worth it. Does anyone know for sure the exact consequences of switching the tailoring spec? It'd be greatly appreciated.

You keep 375 tailoring. You just disable the ability to use what you've made as said specialist. So if you are going PMC to Shadowcloth and you have made the PMC set, you will not be able to use the PMC set.

Sometimes life is fun when you don't know what is going to happen...

Edit: Bah! my reply was supposed to be first! :p

I'm looking at this myself to get my frostweave set and perhaps for pvp...swapping specs weekly...so that's err..about 250/wk just to pvp and raid :(

ouch

I decided that respeccing to a scorch crit spec and back to fireball for raiding was cheaper...and less costly...and I don't have to spend another month making gear...I can get my spellstrike. =D Better all around. Thanks for the reply though!
