So Long and Thanks for all the Fish

So I get a PM asking me why I would choose to leave.

1.  Some topics warrant immediate deletion.  Some topics have been brought up over and over again, the horse is dead.  Stop beating it.  Some topics should never be brought up.

2.  There seems to be very little respect here anymore.  I don't just mean respect for all things not-Christian by the Christian members, I also fully mean respect for all things Christian.  This is a Christian board, supported by Christians, set up by Christians first most for Christians gamers.  Don't like, leave.  I don't hang around Islamic boards under the cover of hoping to show them the light or maybe learning something about them.  I resent people who tell me that they are here for that reason.  I have nothing to learn from an atheist I know the ways of the world, I lived it.  And if you are trully here to learn, then sit down and learn.  Ask intellegent questions that you have put thought into, not just something you read in a book about how to trap a Christian, and then simply dismiss the answer.  That is not what I call being here to learn.

It boils down to, there is too much "me, myself and I" and not enough "Father, Son and Holy Ghost" going on here.  This maybe how some of you like these boards, however, I don't.  As such, I will move on.  I'll check in once in awhile, who knows, I might even post a witty remark once in awhile.  Besides that, I must continue to grow in my walk with Christ and the last thing I need are "doubting Thomases" in my life.  I am taking my own advice, I don't like it and I am leaving. (Not that I am not a Christian, nor a better Christian, rather, I can't continue to grow where I feel held back)

Amen and well said. God Bless you CB.

While I understand your frustration, the reasons you cite are the same for which I created a separate forum for religious discussion and appointed two moderators. I don't venture into the Religious Discussion forum personally, but I think that CCGR and NSpire do well in moderating it.

So, having said that, I'd like you to reconsider leaving the forums altogether and merely skip reading the Religious Discussion forum if it upsets you.
