Hello to all.
I have a prayer request for my sleep apnea. I am curently on a machine that gives me oxygen because I dont breath 5 out of 15 minutes, however I still have the problem. I hoping all they have to do is apply more air pressure to open my throat, If that dosnt work then i might have to go for surgery to widen my throat(Ya I never knew they could do that either). My doctor is arranging appointments with the sleep clinic so I dont know when I go. I ask that you pray that the apnea goes away or I dont have to get surgery.

There is a surgery where they can just take out the back part of your palate and that will sometimes help. It's a relatively simple surgery (so I'm told) and the recovery time is about two weeks.

My wife's family all have sleep apnea and are on either c-paps or bi-paps. My ex wife's sister had to go through a similiar surgery and it wasn't very rough at all on her. Hopefully you won't have to go through it but if you do, I pray that you have the easy recovery she had.
