sim file vids for ut files?

I'm thinking about maybe buying a flip camera and start recording some of the sim files so people can see what they think of my sim files/stepchats before risking a download and not liking it. Would you guys be interested in that? I'm also looking into fraps or something that's a very high quality screen recorder. Just out of curiosity, what do you guys use for screen recording?

vids would look something like this (except with maybe another video on the side JUST showing the screen or the arrows.)

I use FRAPS. You can one of my 720p videos here.

I won't bore you with the details on the encoding tools and process I use.

ok thx tek.. anyway you can get fraps to record in 1080p?

I use PlayClaw, runs smooth for my HD videos. (I down scaled mine half-resolution because of my crappy upload, can do 1080p). Examples can be found in the L4D2/MOH review links in my sig.

Dunno. The native resolution on my notebook is 1440x900. But I'm pretty sure FRAPS supports 1920x1080 resolution.

I used fraps to make all my frag vids back in the day. I gave my copy to Tek actually since I wasn't using it anymore. It's a great program. Check Six and all the other "pro" clans used it to make their old frag vids as well.
