Sick Little Girl

Ladies
Last Wednesday, our daughter came down with a cold and fever. By Saturday, she was almost healthy with a small fever in the morning, and then normal temp the rest of the day. Sunday, the same thing. On Sunday night, when we were putting her to bed, she felt very warm. I took her temperature and it was up to 101.3. I figured it was partially due to the bath, but to err on the side of caution, gave her some medication. At 3:45am she woke up again coughing. She was very warm. We took her temperature and it was up to 103.9. We gave her some medication again to see if it would bring down her temperature, which it did to 101, so we did not have to take her to the hospital. We did call her doctor, who saw her first thing in the morning. After some tests kidney infections were ruled out as well as pneumonia. The doctor thinks it is a viral infection, which means it will need to run its course. She has now missed three days of school and church because of this. I know she is tired of not feeling well and wants to get back to playing like a normal 5 year old. If you would please pray for her to get over this illness quickly, I would appreciate it.

I'm praying for you too. I know how it is when they get very sick like that, cause of my 5yr old nephew.

I am glad to hear that she is feeling better. Now I hope you and Gen can get some rest...well, that is assuming that the stuffed penguin is better, too!
 
I am pleased to report that the Penguin has recovered quited nicely. Now, if we could just catch up on the house work that was put aside to tend to a sick child, we would be just peachy. I am thinking pizza tomorrow as a reward for a clean house :)

Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Given the quick turn around, I am sure they are the reason for her good health and spirits.

We are praying for the most miraculously clean house of all houses!! Maybe you could throw in a weekend of some really nice surprises? :)

You're such a blessed of the Lord doctor! Now that was insight...but with all due respect, shouldn't you be on your hands and knees scrubbing floors and that sort of stuff??? :p
