Tek7 (Legacy)

CGA & ToJ President
I was reading a post over on the Prayer Requests / Praise Reports forum and was inspired to start a thread showing love for the US troops in Iraq.

I would ask that those wishing to debate the politics of the US involvement in Iraq please post a debate elsewhere (the Religious Discussion forum would likely be the best place) as this thread is intended exclusively for supporting our troops.

So, without further ado, let's show some love!

to anyone who has served or knows someone who is, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all of the sacrifices you have made to protect our freedom. You truely are American Heros

Gen

thank you troops for willingly putting your nation before your self, i am proud to say that my father was once among your ranks, he servered and loves his country dearly, and i admire you and your devotion all the more. my prayers are with your families that they may endure the time spent apart from loved ones.

I would like to say to our Troops:
I am not certain how to thank someone for giving their very life for others. My heart is overwhelmed when I consider the magnitude of it all; and words are not enough. My prayer for you is that we, America, will meet the needs of you and your family, first and foremost in prayer.
The Bible says, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. I think of Jesus leaving His Heavenly home to come to save us...truly you have left the comfort of your own home in such a manner, ...unconditional in your love, sacrificial in your giving, honorable in your spirit. You exemplify love. May we all follow your example!
Because of you I am proud to be an American. You keep the footprints of our founding fathers and those who have fought for our freedom all throughout our history, alive! May I say with the greatest of respect, you fill those boots with magnificent honor! I owe you daily with every freedom I possess.
May God bless you and yours above what we could ever ask or think,
May He keep you forever safely in His arms,
May He give you a peace that passes all understanding,
In His Love,
Marcylene

Yea...UK army doesn't get enough credit, especially since most of their country doesn't support the war at all.

I would say I "support" the troops, but I haven't resolved the whole issue in my mind so I'd rather not take a stand at this point.

Still, there's a lot of anti-troop activity in NJ. Two soldiers where refused service at a convenience store and a gas station respectively. One of them was even berated (as if he started the war).

Yea I do feel bad for the UK troops with barely any credit...When THEY know that they pwn more crap on spec ops, and that the press is limited there (which is good) the press says that we did it..I think the press should keeps its stupid little mouth shut

God bless our troops in the US and god bless the UK troops!!! hes i really disliked you saying "its about US troops lets keep on topic"......GOD BLESS all our allies troops, not just US...

Hey hescommin..troops are troops are troops. They're just people supporting their country; they deserve our support, regardless of where they're from.
