Should we move to a new server?

I don't know if this is possible, but nothing really needs to be done. I would like to just make a comment. I think that Redeemed is doing a great job of being a guild. I see that we are growing and I enjoy seeing new people come to our guild. The Stonemaul server we play on is running into problems that I think are happening. The server has become full and sometimes we must wait in queue to join and play with our fellow guildies. I do see lots more people running around Stormwind and Ironforge creating very harmful lag. since 1.9 patch came out the LFG and Trade chat channels are now spam like crazy and I cannot see what the guildies say sometimes.(You can turn it off in the chat tab right?) And on Monday when our guild does the ZG run the whole server seems to crash and everyone disconnect but we are able to get back online with no problems. This has happen twice. All I ask is that we put this down as an idea and maybe we can move everyone to one of the new servers. Like I said before nothing really needs to change right now, but I hope some improvements can be made in the future.

Being part of this guild has made World of Warcraft a great experience for me. You guys are a very helpful and friendly community. I don't think I would continue to play World of Warcraft if I had not joined this guild.

Thanks, good luck and have fun!

I heard a rumor that Blizzard's servers are under attack from an outside source. That may just be a rumor, but I think we need to see what is happening from Blizzard.

It is something to be thought about but no server switching is open so kinda out of luck. You might want to look into it again once something like a free server switch pops open. But i don't know about that Blizzard thing but it sounds interesting.

Stonemaul is not the only server experiencing these problems. I was just checking the server list and even the new servers have massive queues.

Too bad all you people are attached to your level 60's, I'd be all for having people on a similar level with me.;)

<Looks at his 34 days, 6 hours, 48 minutes, and 45 seconds played as Priest>

Ya, I am pretty attached.

<15 days 18 hours 59 minutes and 36 seconds as a level 60>

On blackhand, every night from 7 PM EST to like 11 PM EST, there is a 150 to 400 person queue, and can go up to 30 minutes of queue time. On weekends it's even worse.

What's it like on your server?

I know that alot of people (including me, and us) are disliking this kind of problem, and flooding Blizzard with petitions and such to resolve the problem.

And I sure hope that this thing is resolved... : /

Acctually I've only been stuck in a queue once and that probably wasn't even 5 minutes. I'm the kind who most nights gets bored rather easy and will come and go at least a half dozen times over the course of the day.

Queus? Havent seen a queue since shortly after ED opened. We do get some of the server craziness sometimes but we are usually one of the last to get nailed with it.

I play pretty often during prime time on stonemaul and I haven't seen a queue in six months, maybe I'm just lucky. The servers have defintley been acting up though, occasional lag spikes or disconnects, but usualy only when something major is happening on the server.

I must say this also I hear alot more profanity and nasty things said on stonemaul now then before.

It's a good thing you never played on Illidan :P. That was a nasty place to begin with.

I think all servers have their share of language and attitude.

Blizz

Blizz is planning on making room for improvements on there servers for years. However whenever they make room they get filled up almost instantly. That’s why they keep adding more and more servers and offering server transfers to brand new servers. . . . . . just wait until the expansion comes out. not only will there be returning players. but there will be new players as well. Just to go along with the current players over all. wow has about 5.8 mil players around the world. (Including gold farmers :( ) They keep expanding their servers and making changes. (such as holidays and battleground events) In order to keep the current players from becoming bored and lagged up. You think Blizz likes lag too? Lag = money lost. . . but umm lag = lots of players , in turn lots of players = money :S nm I guess it seems that it works out. But it should take some time for all of it to balance out.

Think of it also as from a home point of veiw. when you want to upgrade and you get your money for the upgrade do you get your hardware as soon as you recieve your money? or do you research what you want to best fit your computer and computer usage. . .:) :) :)
I guess I'im open for flamage!!! Flame on!!

Edit: by years i mean the two years that it started.

If the entire guild decides to move to a non-PVP server, I will re-open my account. Just like that. That would simultaneously solve both of the problems I had with WoW: nobody on my level to play with, and getting ganked every sixty seconds in STV/Desolace.
