Should we make a Trade forum?

I voted yes, but I think we need more of our guild to get on the forums regularly for it to work.

I think it would be a great idea, that way it would keep actual game content that could possible be missed its own place to rest.

Depends on what the subject is, this new forum could also be a LFG forum.

LFG group idea...I like...would keep the groups seperate from the raids like we/I wanted...but it wouldn't be necessary once Plankeye finishes what he is working on for the website.

I like both the Trade and LFG forum ideas. I know there have been a few times I've either had items I want to sell, give away, or buy, and felt a tad awkward posting about it in this forum. I used to advertise items I won off the AH and offered to sell them at cost (which was usually far below the median AH price) to guild members. I stopped doing it because (1) it was probably annoying guild members and (2) I discovered you can whisper yourself in game (which I then used to take screenshots and record prices of items won on the AH).

I like the LFG forum because it often feels as though I'm intruding on the Raid Schedules forum. I was told that that's what the forum's for, but it still feels weird posting a thread looking for a group when everything else is discussing MC and other high-end instances. Also, it's still unclear where I should post when I'm trying to round up a group of guildies for a quest. A LFG forum would solve that problem nicely.

There may be another solution we just haven't thought of yet, but those are my two cents.

EDIT: I still encourage members to download, install, and use GuildAds, but I realize that very few guild members are willing to do so, for various reasons. A Trade forum, while not as convenient as GuildAds, would likely be more widely used.

I think both the trade and LFG forums would be good. I usually have a bunch of stuff put away in the bank I never use and would be glad to give away.

I voted yes. The more information and involvement we can get on these boards the more all or our guild will benefit. If we get a members to troll our boards for information we only will help all of our members with needs or groups or just having more fun and less downtime when online. It only works though when people actively use the boards.

Another idea for the trades forum would be to request materials to needed to create an item. I know that I have had a hard time coming up with the thorium I need to finish several armor items. If I could get the mats I could complete the item and then trade it or give it to a person who needs it.

also i was thinking if it was possible to allow the orignator of a thread in the trade forum to delete or at least lock the thread then people wouldnt be bothered by tons of threads that were not applicable
