I know you work hard on your posts and would like as many people to read them as possible, so maybe if you could just break up your posts into paragraph format, that would be easier on the eyes.

Well, I have to say yes here.

Even though the Greeks and ancient Hebrews did not always use paragraphs.

I even tend to over use paragraphs.

But, I like to seperate my thoughts.

I think it makes it easier.

Don't you agree.
 
I was copy editor for the school newspaper for three years. Paragraphs rule.

What? Who voted no? Seriously, they're part of the English language. If you speak English, you should get to know them.
 
As a Christian, I would say, no. They make things easier to read, and... I just say no. And by the way, DV, I love your sig, I always thought that "christian the devil warned you about" was a stupid saying.

If you want to have us communicate with you and respond to your posts then you'll take the advice to heart. If you ignore it, well then you really don't care much for your fellow posters.

Lol No doubt if I was to walk into your Church on Sunday morning wearing dirty clothes you would tell me to go home and change into a suit. hmmm I wonder what Jesus would think about the way you are treating me in this very trival matter. Lol This kind of reminds me of the two sisters where Jesus was staying. The one complained to Jesus about her sister not being of any help in preparing the food for them while the other sat at his feet and listened to him teach. That example for you is in Luke 10:38-42 and I do hope you read it. I hope your not offended but I really don't think line breaks are all that important when it comes to conveying the truth in God's word. Oh yes I do care about you or I would not be writing whats in my heart and praying for you all everyday. Its obvious to me that you do not see whats more important here. Wow and thats not funny.
 
You presume too much. We are not sending you home from church, Jeshurun. We are kindly asking you to make your posts more readable. You write them so that people will read them, correct? And for people to want to read them and to understand them more easily it would be best for you to break your thoughts into paragraphs or group them together some way.

This is NOTHING like what you are trying to compare it to. All we are asking for is some courtesy to us as people who want to read your posts and understand them better. But you ignore us and then try to make us feel low for suggesting it. I'm sorry, but you're sorely missing our point.

I am firmly against the concept. Simply repulsive... Not really, they're really quite nice. Actually, I don't usually read long posts, so it doesn't make much difference to me. I've got better things to do with my time than hear what everybody has to say ;).

Oh and Mr Slice I'm sorry, but it is all of you that are missing the point. As for low I believe its the other way around. It would seem to me from my stand point that all of you seem to enjoy being critical of the new flavour of the month in every area it would seem. Why don't you all relax and just give it a rest. It seems we are not the only ones making a big thing out of a little thing. If you won't spend the extra ten seconds to format your posts properly, simply out of pride or whatever motivation you may have, you have also made a molehill into a mountain.

We are not critical of new members unless they come in here spreading incoherent posts, personal attacks, or a haughty attitude. You have all three. We aren't "picking on you" because you're new. We simply made a request that you make your posts legible and at least coherent enough that we don't have to struggle to understand what you're trying to say, and we would have done the same to a more established member if he started posting incoherently. We WANT to hear what you have to say, but you're making it very hard for us. We don't want to fight. We want to be friends.
