Shaman Build, Suggestions?

Hello all,

I have been playing more of my shaman lately and need a suggested build to work towards. I like to heal, but I don't think the Restoration pool is very viable for leveling. I need a combination build so that I can still heal and deal a lot of damage.

Any help would be sweet!

Usually for shaman leveling from 1-58, enhancement is the fastest way to level, elemental leveling requires too much mana and you'll be drinking alot. Resto leveling seems just fairly odd and you'll deal nxt to no damage with the early talents. When you get windfury you might see things just die instantly which makes leveling fast. When you get to Outland, leveling as resto is very viable once you get Earth Shield in the Resto tree.
 
I agree with Azami! Enhancement til 60, Elemental til 70. Azami and I are both elemental, and we can lay the smack down, but when things get hairy, we can do a decent job healing in our +damage gear. (No need to switch forms like a shadow priest or noobkin) I've even healed a few heroics.

i personally enjoyed mixing them... i actually had a pretty good build going with the majority in enhancement... yet 10 dings in resto (for the first major enhancement in resto), i think... 15 dings in elemental (again... for the major enhancements... i think it was a type of fireball... thing... a ma...bober..) and then the rest in enhancement... YET... that is kinda dangerious to do... (mix threw all the types...) thus... i would put your main in enhancement... then once you actually hit 70 put it in resto so you can be popular in the raid groups. haha.
 
Cool, I'm gonna take some wise advice from you guys. I'll go Enhancement for now. I like healing though. :) It's a nice break from getting pounded while DPS'ing.

Just do what Where does and wait to specc into something until you're 70.
 
Hey, I levelled up Prot 1-70:P have only respecced once and that was this week trying to get more aggro:P
 
sadly enough... you usually don't do a whole LOTTO raiding between 1-30... then from 30-60... it still isn't major raiding... once you are actually 60... O... excuse me... *cough* 70... you start raidin like crazy... thus you really need to assure YOU can fight... and YOU have good DPS while you are lvling up... so you can level faster and easier.
