Just a thought.....
Text and Chat are very one diminsional coversation methods. You can't hear voice inflections, you can't see facial expressions, you can't see body posture...etc. all forms of NON verbal communication which you lack in text or chat form. So misunderstandings can be very common, and the meaning of your text could be total misinterpreted with out the non verbal helpers....just something I wanted to point out.....When in Doubt....Seek them out! Get clarification to prevent unwarranted hard feelings
