Bowser

Tribe of Judah StarCraft Series Chapter Leader
Cooler Master Centurion Case
600 Watt Power Supply
Gigabyte Mobo
Intel Dual Core 3.0
4 gigabytes ddr2 ram (5,5,5 I think)
Geforce gtx 260 1 gig 256 bit
22" monitor
logitech wired keyboard
logitech wired gaming mouse

I can include a 120 GB HD and a dvd-rw if you want.

Everything for $600. I consider this high on the mid-range systems, and can play modern games with ease. At 1680x1050 it will play most newer games on high or ultra settings with ease (plays StarCraft II on Ultra, can play Skyrim on Ultra but plays better on High, and MW2 on the highest settings).

You can get this for <$600 new. Used with no warranty Id say its worth $375.

Do you mean a similar setup but brand-name like Dell, or by building a custom using the same parts?

I think it's pretty reasonably priced, but I'm willing to negotiate. I realize you can get a new similar system for $600, but that's without the 260 graphics card and monitor, I think, which makes it worth it.

Ewoks didn't realize there was a monitor + keyboard + mouse + free candle light dinner with Bowser, I'm guessing.

I'd pay $600 for a free candle light dinner with Bowser any day.

Tek, jump on this. >_>
If I could afford to drop $600 on a new (well, pre-owned) computer, I would seriously consider buying Bowser's computer. But I can't. And likely won't be able to for a while, even after I get a job. I'd like to get a fence installed some time before my child is able to run around the backyard...

On a related note: Children are expensive. I'm not expecting this to surprise anyone. I'm just pointing it out.

That being said: I hope this thread brings together a happy buyer and a happy seller. :)

Clothes line, leash and a dog walker that goes around the chest. I just saved you like $500.

Kids are expensive but you can cut corners. And they heal quickly too.

am i missing something....why are you selling your computer Bowser?

As someone who has been scouting deals for the past few month and the person who bought Odale's machine- I agree with Ewok's. (not counting the dinner thing which creeps me out a little bit).

No hard drive, no OS.....

Better deals on NewEgg especially with Black Friday coming up.

But, not to discourage you too much TeddyBear. I would take a closer look, but I am looking at an after Christmas purchase or I would work with you.

Technically it worked on arrival... only Icthus couldn't see anything. =P Also, if I knew then what I know now, I would have packaged everything differently and probably would have gotten shipping insurance.

Anyway - older computers are similar to modified cars. It doesn't matter how much money you spend on modifying you'r car, ultimately it's still just a Honda Civic.... or a Ford Festiva (those should never sell for more than a few hundred dollars). The point is that regardless of how much money you spend on your computer, you'll never get that money back - perhaps $600 is a tad high.
