Second Profession suggestions! :)

Hey guys, since I am a semi-newbie here, I was wondering what would be a good second prof for my warrior build. I want something with power and possibly casting ability....but any opinions are welcome thx! :)

a interesting choice is a plague touch warrior, 5 energy gets rid of a condition, no real usefulness besides that...

the energy is just soo slow on a warrior its maddening, smite builds seem to work well, usually you can get the damage of a hammer into a axe, which makes short work of casters...

usuing something with balthazaars spirit could theoretically make up for the energy, but ive found that 3-5 warrior attack skills + 2 support+res works really well in pvp

Yeah, any casting build will be tricky, with the warrior's low energy. There are, however, some viable w/caster builds out there.

You might try ranger, too; there are a lot of possibilities there.

I originally tried a smite build for my warrior, but switched to a W/N to use the plague touch (which helped with my Victory is Mine build).
it was the only necro spell I'd use, and since it has no attribute, I could keep all my attribute points for sword, strength and tactics.

i want to try a W/rit to use some weapon spells as buffs.
I had a W/mo for protection spells; worked out nicely.
W/me is has some good uses. I'd use Illusion of Weakness to give me a virtual higher max health.
W/R could be nice for a skill like Apply Poison, espeically if you use Victory is Mine and Cyclone Axe.

W/R with Melhandru's (sp?) Resistance is nice runner for Southern shiverpeaks.
there, escape(R), dodge(R), Change(W)... those are the ones i can think of on the top of my head, plus you got troll ungent(R)

Ya but escape is elite and so is charge, dodge is a stance so would take off any other stance such as sprint and balanced.
I have been using my W/R to explore southern shiverpeaks, bc lots of degen and Melhandru's Resistance (E) gives you +3 health regen, and +1 energy for each hex and condtition on u.

And finally i got my 90% exploration tonight!!!!!!! YAy

A Mo/R is the best runner in the Southern Shiverpeaks. If you have to run through Ice Imps, nothing is better than Spellbreaker. Here is a build for it in order of when to cast it:

  • Serpents Quickness (makes skills recharge faster)
  • Healing Breeze (health regen while running)
  • Spellbreaker (baddies can't cast on you)
  • Storm Chaser (to run with)
  • Dodge (to run some more)
  • Heal Area (to self heal...any self heal will do though).

You cast the first 4 right before you start running and the rest as needed. It may be good to bring a condition removal and maybe the Canthan counterpart to Dodge.

It's only function is to make Spellbreaker charge 33% faster. As long as you cast it before Spellbreaker and cast Storm Chaser after Spellbreaker, it serves its purpose.

This has just become the first build that I've posted over on the website. Here's the link.
