Well Fls and ToJ had the first scrim. Flsers weren't quite ready, but pilgrim insisted on trying it. Well we got buried,

but i think it was worth while. We learned a lot.
 
if an admin could please go turn off the pass protection that'd be cool. I think only higher admin's can now. =(
 
I would really shut it off, but to be totally honest I don't know it to get in the server so I can't remove it

alright on a side note I thought I would post my demo file of the scrim of toj and fls saturday night...

ToJ/fls scrim

couple notes... it may not play right if you don't follow

I read up and the recent updates to steam have changed things to the demo playback this problem should be fix soon but for the time being do the following to watch demos

1) Open CS from the 'Games' list of STEAM.

2) Click on 'New Game' and load up the map the demo was recorded on.

3) Wait for the server to load, then go into spectator mode.

4) Bring down the console and use the viewdemo command as normal.

if you don't do this the demos like to crash whenever someone in the demo brings up the frag screen.
 
Yeah my only comment for fls=You guys really need to work on:

1)Terrorist Strats
2)CT Strats
3)Everything else in cs. (Communication/playing styles etc)


*Further Note: No Pilgrim I will not teach you.
 
Just so you all know, Steam's HLTV is bugged so I cannot host an HLTV proxy from my secondary computer. I tried for at least three hours to relay the broadcast outside my LAN (it worked perfectly inside the local network) with no success.

Anyway, I hope to have this all worked out by the time the next scrim rolls around so someone can record a HLTV demo of the match. I'll be posting a thread on the Steam forums soon and will keep everyone updated.
 
If it worked fine inside your network ... I would have to suggest checking to see if your router has those ports opened for hltv. Check that and lemme know how that goes.

Alrighty checked that. Opened port 27070 (was using that exact port for HLTV) on both TCP and UDP protocols, on my secondary computer. I could then ping it inside Steam (but not ASE) but it hung at "Parsing Game Info" indefinitely. I left it for five minutes to get a snack, came back, and it was still "Parsing Game Info."

Grr.

i had the best score (which was horrible) in T. Don't worry, we just formed the team, had no practices and no experiences. We'll get better eventually, and as for my mic, i need some help

I'm going to try it with my 2 computer when I get home tonite. I have Kerio Personal Firewall, so I can see which ports are being used and need to be opened. Is there anything I need to know about HLTV ... I haven't used HLTV since 1.5, anything different with 1.6/Steam? Thanks.
 
Kerio personal firewall? nice, me 2, though i hav an old one 2.1.5

Well Im sorry to tell you Albert....there is no I in team. I also hate to tell you its not about your score =\. There were some guys who went 2-12 at CPL and still contributed more to the team than people ahead of them.

Nah, nothing that I remember since setting up a proxy for our old 1.5 server.
 
I know deadaim, me joking. I'm trying to get some time to Teach Flsers to hav some teamwork. meanwhile, tryin' to wrk out strats with Woot whenever he's on. Besides, i got my Mic problem fixed. I'm back on full power.
