Psalms 27

7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord;
be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!”
Your face, Lord, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
God my Savior.

Lately I'm losing my thirst for God's word/presence. And I just want to emphasis the thirst for God in these verses.

anlptgtsg dry times are a normal part of Christian growth and using the Psalms to get us through them is a wonderful idea. I have been a Christian longer than some of our members have been alive, and have been through many dry spells, and "trips around the mountain" like the Children of Israel, and have found God to be faithful, even when I am not. The Psalms are a great place to hang out when going through these times, memorize as many as you can, they will sustain you.
