Another sound card related question, under my Cmedia driver, i have an option for S/PDIF Playback which "only wroks on headphones or 2 speakers" *haha they spelled works wrong!* anyway, what is it? i googled it but i still don't have a clear idea... :confused:

In simple terms is a way of replacing a bunch of spagettie cables w/ one fiber optic wire. If you have a sound card with Spdif and speakers with Spdif you can output your sounds on the speakers.

I was excited at first b/c it was wikipedia... but then it became a LITTLE bit too complicated for me to understand with under 1 minute skimming... none of the words make sense...? XD

could you please explain it in english? :)
