Resume critique?

Are there any professionals in the house who would be willing to review my resume and give constructive criticism?

The job search has been very difficult since my wife and I moved earlier this year; I'm hoping revising my resume will help me land more interviews.

I'm no pro, but I was in a high school business and engineering focused academy. We covered resume, portfolios, and interview's pretty thoroughly. I may be able to help.

When you interview, do you have a portfolio to accompany your resume? Do you follow a format when answering questions (such as the often used STAR format)?

I could check with my dad, see if he has time to check it out. He's been in HR for the better part of my life, and if he has time I'm sure he will check it out. You can edit out any personal info as you see fit. I'll get back to you :D

I recently sent out a working draft of my functional resume and received feedback from a few members. My sincere thanks to everyone who replied with constructive criticism.

I'm preparing to revise my functional resume again and make copies on resume paper at a local print shop. Once I have several copies of my resume (on nice paper!) on hand, I plan to visit several local businesses and personally deliver my resume.

Before I spend the money for copies and resume paper, would anyone else be willing to take a look at the current draft of my functional resume and offer their advice?

Happy to. I may not help on spelling and grammar but I know my way around HRM enough to be vaguely useful. Let me know via PM and I can give you my email.

I'd be happy to help. My resume just landed me a seat in the fuel cell division of an automotive company. It can't be too bad!

You obviously need to put your experience as an intergalactic conqueror. Oh, and don't forget to put your lineage as a vicious pillaging pirate.
