idk if the URL will work but basicaly its about a 16 year old girl who is told she cant wear a "chasity ring" or what we Yankees call a purity or promise ring at school. It laters goes on to say how the government is telling Christians in the area (which are accualy very very few) that they have to keep their religion quiet and not "pushing" it on everyone else.

Just shows how Christians are being persecuted all over the world and we need to pray.

PS. you need to have ur popup blocker off for this one. it also might not work cause its from the Comcast Fan which is like a news movie clip.

This disgusts me because it's not even necessarily Christian, it just means that you're going to wait to, well, you know. Since it MIGHT be Christian, they're not taking any chances.

now THAT is sad..... We need to start making a stand... (pulls out the great sword) *Let the Crusades begin*

lol! can i be the new pope?!

POPE STC! BOW DOWN TO ME INFIDELS!!! AHAHAHAHA

Heh, that'd be the ultimate bragging rights for Stc's parents.
"Oh, your son's a doctor? Yeah, ours is pope. ...we hear he does well for himself... Your son has a big house? Yeah, ours has his own city. (it's in Europe!)"

He'd be like the Catholic superhero... the cape, the pointy hat... I mean, sheesh! His car's called the Popemobile!!

To my knoladge, a Christain is welcomed in Asian Country's with the exception of Japan, and the same goes with Africa execpt Kenya. (Please correct me if im wrong).

EDIT: To my knoladge a Christian is UNwelcomed in most Asian contry's with the exeption of Japan. After re-reading this i tottaly reversed the point and sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

A quick google http://www.persecution.org/suffering/country_info.php . However, I do not vouch for that site as I have not checked it out thoroughly.

I do know one of my Father's client's sons was arrested in China at one point for Christian activity. North Korean is bound to be less than friendly too. According to that web site they are. I did not think Japan was that un-friendly to Christians though. I mean I know that couple hundred years ago they had a genocidal massacre of Christians, but, I thought they were pretty open today.

As far as Africa it has been very bad in the Sudan for quite a long time. Continually ignored by the press I believe it is a instance that warrants military intervention. It is much worse than that web site lets on IMO. It is worth noting that I've heard some Muslims are becoming Christians there. Probably repulsed by their own religion's cruelty. Shows how God can work through the most adverse circumstance doesn't it.

I think in general Christians in name are treated fine in most places (unless you are talking about that Muslim thing). That is until you start actually being a Christian by living by Christian precepts. Then the smack down comes when you have to choose God over the world (Luke 9:23, Matthew 6:24, John 15:18-22).

To my knowledge, a Christian is welcomed in Asian Country's with the exception of Japan, and the same goes with Africa except Kenya. (Please correct me if im wrong).
Not really. In china you can be Christian but you can't preach to anyone else, however that is improving. On the other hand, in places like Vietnam and laos it is far worse. There it is illegal to be Christian and they even have reeducation camps for Christians. In loas it is pretty bad too (I can't say much online, but i have talked to people form the country). However, even despite the persuction the church is one of the fastest growing.
