Regarding Faction Points...

Everyone, please save up your Kurzick Faction at this point until you have 10k.

When we have enough people able to turn faction in across our alliance (at least 50, probably more) then we will pick a date and turn it all in together, then go on a massive faction farming expedition and turn that in.

50 people turning in 10k each at once would be 500k faction. At this point, we only need 2mil to take over an elite mission. This should give us quite a head start toward that goal.

I'll be discussing this with Hawaii Boy and Ayero of Farth and asking them to do the same.

(Also, feel free to turn your faction in for amber. It's only 1k faction, which is 2 faction battles, and it can really boost your bank account.)
 
I dont understand all the kurzic vs luxon faction thing. how do you get the faction and what does it do for you?:confused:
 
you can earn it doing certain quests when you get to the Kurzick areas or you can do Alliance Battle and get about 1500 every 2 matches. What it does is you can trade it in for Amber (Rare crafting MAterial worth 2k) or use it for the the Alliance to purchase a City so we can do an Elite mission which has weapons and things that are only in that Mission. And you have to control the city to do the Elite mission!
 
But remember that Elite Missions are only available to alliances that control either Cavalon or Houze Zu Heltzer. Currently at the moment if you wish to go to the Elite Mission in Cavalon, all you need to do is go to Cavalon and ask for a ferry to "The Deep". The memebers fo the controlling alliance will add you to their party and let you in. Quite nice of them. The Kurzick Elite Mission however is not quite so available, the controlling alliance likes to keep that one to themselves.
 
HOWEVER, it would take less than 2M faction to control one of the towns, and therefore it would get our name out there. Plus, for anywhere from 300 to 5k gold, we can set off fireworks in that town.

Ok..I am confused. Save your faction till u have 10k....which I do. But turn it in for amber? I don't understand. Save it or turn it in?

Also, if we weren't doing this town thing what would I do with my 10k Kurzick faction?

Theres an NPC in House Zu Heltzer called the Faction Transfer NPC. You can transfer your earned faction to your guild by talking to him and accepting the transfer.

Pastori is just saying that he'd like our guild to accumulate enough to take a town, but if you wish you can turn your faction in for amber instead.
 
Basically, if you need a quick 2k cash, go ahead and turn in 1k faction for amber since you can make it up in less than a half hour.

Turn in the amber, then go out and earn another 1k faction. More clear now?
 
I have quests that reward me with Kurzick faction. What happens to the faction if I am sitting there full up at 10k?

I am leaning toward spending my faction. Not really interested in shooting fireworks.

I am also going to be spending my faction on amber. Mostly cause I'm saving up for 15k kurzick male mesmer armor(Unless someone would like to donate 75k and 80 amber to my cause :p jk). But also because if we arent controlling Cavalon or House Zu Heltzer, I see no point in even trying. I don't know about you but I certainly don't pay attention to who owns a town and I've also witnessed many fireworks and they arent all that impressive IMO. Certainly not worth the 500g-3k you spend for the 10 seconds of particle effects. It's just a gold sink, and a very poor one at that.
 
we should either add (or change a pvp night) to a Alliance battle night or something that we can all do to earn faction one night a week. it will help peopel better understand faction cuz we will be able to explain and do it with each other.
