For those who are interested and have been here long enough to know what has happened in recent past between the Redeemed and HIS guilds\leaders, please be aware that we are trying to rebuild some bridges and in doing so are meeting on next Thursday evening (if all goes well) at 7:30 PM CST. This meeting will take place on CGA's Teamspeak server . Please feel free to join us all for this meeting. I will ask that anyone with hostilities towards each other in either guild keep their tongues in check or you will face some dire consequences, be forewarned! Tek, our ToJ leader, will be attending this meeting. I would love to have as many staff members, from Redeemed that can, show up. Thanks!

The HIS website has a chat room. I think we should also be there for the meeting who that dont have mics but would like to speak or for those who are not very comfortable speaking on a mic. (or for those who have kids running about in the background) First thing you'll need to do if you havent already is create a guild portal account so you can sign in. (you can do this right at the top of th page (just click new user) then to log into the chat room just go to http://home.nycap.rr.com/jazmina and click on the chat tab. then choose if you'd like the chat box to load in the same window or open a new window. Then most will get a security box up asking for permission to run the java chat program. Its not installing anything just asking permission to run something for that session. click yes and you should be in.
 
I wasnt suggesting NOT using teamspeak but rather using a text based chat along with it. I was not aware you could text chat also in teamspeak. I only recommended the HIS chat for convenience sake. Sorry.

Err...maybe. When Elihu asked me to attend the meeting (and I agreed), I hadn't yet received an e-mail about a local event, scheduled for the evening of Oct. 27, that I might attend. The event would provide an opportunity to network with local members of the broadcast industry. I'm considering work as a broadcast news reporter after college, so this event could prove helpful.

I can't guarantee that I'll attend the meeting, but if I don't go to this local event, I'll be sure to make it out to the TeamSpeak server that night.
 
i cant get my teamspeak to work =\. I keeps giving me an Incorrect login passowrd and or name.
 
Teamspeak does have a built in chat system for typing as well as full audio support. These are reasons for me choosing this method along with the fact that it is CGA\ToJ sponsored so it only makes sense to use it. It has been updated recently so please be sure to update the new login\pass info as well as new address as shown in the link in the first post on this thread. If you are still having issues please notify hescomingsoon so he may help you in this matter. I do appreciate the offer of the chat HTML on HIS site from Jazmina, and if we did not have chat built into TS i would graciously accept. Thanks all the same! :) Tek, no problem if you are unable to make an appearance as it sounds like alot of staff will be there from both guilds and I feel confident that any problems\questions can be answered and or redirected to the areas or people needed. I can't wait to see you all there! God bless!

Not that I've ever noticed. Tribe of Judah staff uses TeamSpeak for our staff meetings and we haven't had any delay problems.
