OK, this may be crazy, but how about a Redeemed Bible Study?? I could teach it most weeks and we could work thru some Scriptures together....
Is this a good idea?
What time/nite would be good for you? (do not want to do it during peak raiding times, maybe 5pst on a Thur?)

Let me know what you think and when would be good. Also, if you have topics you would like to see discussed, that would be great too. I am thinking we could do it on vent, typing it out would not work very well for me....

Even though I'm not in Redeemed anymore I would do my best to attend if at all possible. It's one of the big things I pushed when I was the Living in Christ(not sure what it's called now) leader and guild leader.
 
BaldGuy are you qualified for this? I think we might need to do a background check. Who is your IT guy? Have him forward me your bio. Those links under your sig could be forged. And whats with that Avatar pic, you handle serpents and now you want to teach the bible?!?!
 
Bible studies in WoW were always soemthing that I wanted to see take place first and foremost. I always felt that the sacrifice of 30 mins in the game was a big sacrifice to some of us who play, and helped to keep God's Word in the picture and our perspective where it was needed. During the times that I sat in on studies to listen, or the times that I studied to do a teaching, or even the times when we did prayer\testimonies I was always blown away at the things God showed to me. This could be a powerful tool to the guild and its members.

Baldguy - I commend you for taking this up and carrying it on for the next steps.
 
I agree Fj some of my most memorable times in WoW were in Bible study. I remember one you did where we had communion it was awesome.
 
If you can plan it for Tuesdays, my wife and I can make it, but Wednesday is out because we are taking a class at Church.
 
Wednesday & most Tuesdays are out for me as we have church those nights.

What about Friday at 5 pm server time, that's an hour before raid time so a good chunk of people will be on.

so will you be streaming this on the net for us who aren't activated our accounts again?

whoa.... that's a crazy thought. Is it possible to stream the game live? with some funky FRAPS->compresser->stream?

OK, i'm thinking either Tuesdays around 5 server time, or Sunday evenings any time....what y'all think??
Thought we'd start by studying the book of Philippians together. I would try to make it where we read ahead (posted here) and then come together and discuss and learn together....

Sunday night would be good. I probably could not make it till 9 or 9:30 central time unless the kids go to bed early.
 
I'm glad we are getting back into this. I'd be willing to help out if you want to take time off or a break. This is something I feel is very important in our lives.

I didn't hear Monday mentioned at all. For many, Wednesdays are church nights, Friday's are "yea! it's the weekend night" I like the idea of starting the week out on a Sunday or Monday night and 5pm though a good time for Sunday night, for some on Monday's it's early for those who work regular type hours on Weekdays. We're not going to be able to accomodate everyone, so having a thread also will catch those who might not be able to make it.

I'm very interested in a Redeemed study. Monday nights after 5pm MST are best but I could work it out most any other night.
