Recurring Dream

First and foremost I would like to point out that this dream has occured three times while I have been awake throughout my life and six times while I was asleep.

Perhaps I am delusional, I went to a doctor who said I was perfectly healthy (mentally) though...

The dream starts off with me in a place, not of this earth yet oddly reminescent of it. A light blue haze (not myst, but like it) filled the atmosphere around me. I was not in a bodily form, and could not 'see' myself, yet I could see others, and distinguish them as people, though they did not in actuality resemble anything that can be described with language.

I was looking up to the 'sky' (I will call it that for simplicity) and I saw a 'sign' (again for simplicity).

This sign had a message on it, though I couldn't make it out, and it was not in the form of writing or symbols of any kind (again, impossible to explain). Oddly, I could still 'read' the message. I begin to 'decipher' it and find that the first part says, "You", than I wake up before getting to the rest of the message.

I just thought I would post this up to see all of your interpretations, I won't criticize them of course.

By the way, don't expect me to start believing over a dream, as that really isn't fair of you to do.

Still, if you personally feel it has something to do with God, please do share your thoughts.

Wow Medjai, I find this hard to believe, man

The rest of the sign definitly says "...are gay." The dream is about coming out of the closet and accepting yourself for who you are. The sky is where you will go when you finally stop living a heterosexual lie, being skyrocketed socially. The blue figures are either the people to whom you are lieing, and so they seem not to be human to you to make it seem ok, or they are those men whose love you secretly desire.

*shrug* But that's just my take

Of course he was joking!

I wasn't though, and I seriously delve into this dream a lot, at one point it almost did have me believing in God. For any of you that aren't answering because you think I am kidding, I am not.

Anyways, glad your thinking about it Pop, can't wait to hear your opinion.

And that was hillarious Timor, but what do you think it means in my subconcious, seriously.

Medjal God uses many things to get our attention, as i said in my vission it took me to Physicaly see and Touch Christ to belive in him. He had been revealing himself to me for a long time, i was just too worried about myself to pay any atention. He can and dose use vissions and dreams to get our atention. I belive that your dream could really be from God. This may not be the answer you wanted, and i might be alittle biased casue of my experience with God. But just as the hand in your dream i feel that God Has his hand upon your life. God dose love you Medjal.

The woes of this world are not God's fault But mans. We are the ones who sinned against him. This world is fleeting, our time here is fleeting, it is not the things of this world that matter but the next that last forever. and i have come to learn somthing. it is not God that Sends people to hell, it is we that condem ourselves. sin and God are like two oposite ends of a magnet. one canot exist near the other, and so they are repulsed away from eachother. it is the sins that we comit that send us away from God, Just as he had to expel man from the Garden of Eden becuase of his sin, so those who have sin on them are expeled From heaven, not becasue he wants to but becuase Sin canot exist there. That is why Jesus said the Only way to the Father was through him, because it is Throught the sacrifice, and acepting the free gift of that sacrifice that our sins are removed, and because they are removed we can then enter into the presence of God.

Every breath we are given is another chance to acept Christ and the Forgiveness he offers.

Jesus died for you Medjal and he died for me and for everyone who ever lived or ever will. He has put the choice of our destiny's into our own hands, and so in the end we canot blame anyone but ourselves. When we die we will stand before God and the truth of existance and of God will be revealed to us, and if we failed to accept that truth it will be the relization that that failure is all our own fault. and it will be this guilt that will burn us forever.

These words are not an assult but a fervent plea, born of compasion and Love.

God Bless you and Keep you safe Medjal

I am still thinking about it Medjai. I will have plent of time seeing as how I have nothing to do but sit and study in Chicago.

Ok I have just hand copied it and will take it to Chicago with me. Although my interperatation may be different when I come back here is a thought that entered my head. Remember I am posting this as I believe in God I do not expect you to believe because of this but this is what I beleive God may be saying but I have yet to give it a full good thought out interperatation. The part with the sign up in the sky. That could meen that you are at a crossroads of some sort and it is up to you whether or not to follow God. Becuase you could not read the rest of it it could meen that God has a plan for you but as I said "you" may be at a crossroads right now and have to decide whether or not to take that action. This is just some food for thought till I come back with a more thought out interperatation.

OK. How 'bout this...

There is something you are searching/seeking for. Whether it be acceptance, respect, or something like that. You want to believe in God, and you may even realize He can give you the acceptance, repsect, or whatever it is, but you are too scared to take that step in fear of leaving your comfort zone. The words are "You are accepted/respected."

..."You Medjai. Me Tarzan."

of course I would have to say that there is a chance it's just a dream and doesn't mean anything, and none of us will ever know for sure, only you. Just the fact that you posted that up here makes me think, that you think it could have a spiritual meaning. I think if God did send those to you, you would be having those thoughts, the only problem is that you keep telling yourself it's not and if you lie enough, the difference between reality and lies becomes narrow and you don't really know which one its is.

I would have to say because you think it could have some meaning, that it does.

Just my opinion, I'm no phsycologist or whatever.

What do I seriously think it means? *shrug* I've had recurring dreams, and given them little thought. I honestly don't think dreams mean anything. I think they're just a random composition made of random fragments of memory. Do I have anything to support this? No. But I really, honestly, with all my heart don't think dreams mean anything. Sure, I occasionally find myself *wishing* they meant something, but hey, there's a big difference....

you sure it you dreamed it multiple times? sometimes your brain plays tricks...I've had "recurring" dreams before that I later realized only happened once

I didn't post this because I thought it had supernatural significance (as the supernatural does not exist).

I merely posted it to see what you all would make of it, maybe it was my brain telling me that I am doing something wrong and need to fix it, etc...

Further, I just find it to be a beautiful dream and wanted to share it with you all.

I can't wait to hear Pop's interpretation!

Noble, you took this as an attempt to convert me, as though it was a signal of my own personal weakness. Really though, a recurring dream is not something that could possibly convert me. I don't take it as an insult though, for this dream does 'seem' religious in nature.

Squared, maybe your thoughts are correct, if you just take God out of the equation. Maybe I need to accept (x) but because of (y) I am unable to do so. This short little interpretation of yours really got me thinking!

Pop, I like your food for thought as well! Again, perhaps God should be taken out of the equation. Maybe I am at crossroads in my life, yet this dream has been occuring since I was four. Sometimes it is years apart before recurring.

I slept all day and night in Chicago so I dident have a chance to think about so youll just have to wait a little longer. As far as me taking God out you did say what do you think this meens if it is from God or somthing of the sort. You have had it since you where four so maby a little ill call it "revising" is in order.

Well, I doubt it would be God calling ya, if you've been having it since you were four, and you were a Christian until age 12, so that possibility has just become even smaller

*shrug*

Well, I will tell you that at age eleven I was able to see the whole message... I just didn't want to say what it said...

I will once everyone tells me what they think of it though! I will even tell you all of the 'amazing' ventures I undertook because of it.

oooooooh i can't wait! it's like a mystery! like the hardy boys, or nancy drew!

but as i already said, i think dreams are bunk =D though i'd LOOOOOVVVEEEEEEE to aquire the skill of lucid dreaming.....omg, id die

crap, im gonna go read up on that again right now

My thought is that dreams are our brain's way of dealing with stuff. Nothing very deep, except to ourselves (as in realization about things).

'except to ourselves'

Exactly, but it is always fun to tell people about your craziest of dreams is it not?

This isn't my craziest but is one of the only recurring ones.
