You know, I bet Reco could get us all absentee ballots so we could all vote for him?

Wait, that would be so illegal.

Hey, I wonder if Reco told the press about us if that would be a good or bad thing for his campaign?

Maybe that is not something we should answer...

let's break the word "politics" down.

POLY . ... latin for many
TICS .... blood sucking bugs

My problems with politics is: Is causes arguments even at work, and cause me and others to be uncomfortable... Many (not all) politicians lie all the time, which makes them no better than prostitutes (sinning to make a living), or lawyers... And I think the governmental system in the country (US) is broken badly...and I personally believe that a majority of the government is corrupt and that they take our money and hide things from us...

So what you are basically saying is "I am against anything that causes anyone to voice their thoughts."

Voicing thoughts means people will know your stance and because not everyone sees eye to eye, that leads to disagreements.

Your stance consequently turns you against religion as well, which has much broader implications than simple Retardicans vs. Democrats.

Also, the reason the government hides things from you isn't because they don't want you to know; it's because they don't want them (enemies...) to know.

Commie!

of course you would know nothing about that relationship if it were not for religion.

God uses His creation to spread His gospel and they made religion in order to follow that command.

I guess this is a case of semantics, it all depends how we are defining the word "religion"

Agreed.

Done.

Number two (underlined by your's truly) strikes me as the definition that pertains most to this discussion.

A fundamental practice by many protestant denominations is to have a personal relationship with God/Jesus.

You are not the only one in here that has a relationship with God and Jesus, we all know that; however, there are other things that govern what kind of relationship you are to have with God/Jesus. Brother versus right-hand-man, or leader versus good luck charm. There are many relationships one can have with something, especially with a being you cannot physically see.

You need the guidelines Christianity sets forth so you have the right kind of relation between you and God/Jesus.
