How do you guys handle raid loot? do you do something similiar to DKP or do you just do /random rolls at the end or the run?

For which? SGA runs or Guild runs? SGA is dependant on the particular instance. ZG has an itemized list with a two pass rule (you get something, you have to pass the next two things you could use). And MC is based on a points system but much simplified. Guild runs, if you can use, pass and discuss, then we'll roll. We had some great loot drop on our uBRS run tonight - epic 2h, Destiny. We just asked who could use and would they use, then gave it to the one person who could use it.

All Bind on Equip items you should roll greed on unless you can actually use the item, then please roll need. Do not roll need if your alt can use it, roll greed. If you win the roll, great. If you do not, please ask the person who won about the item.
All Bind on Pickup items are ALWAYS passed on first, discussed by the leader of the group with the rest of the raid, and then the appropriate people then do a /roll for the said item.
Plans for professions are passed on by everyone and then distributed to those who can use it. If no one needs it and the plans are decent, they go to the guild bank to be placed in Guild Ads. This is one of the reasons why Adam asks everyone to have Guild Ads working and updated.
Looting is NEVER to be done on ANY corpse if anyone in the group/raid is dead. They said person will be resurrected and then looting may continue.
And last but not least, if you're not sure weather to roll need/greed on an item, please wait until you see a few other people roll or pass and then follow suit.
