RAG DOWN - MC CLEARED

What a night for loot and celebration TE. I'm proud of you guys. Wish I could have been there to share in the moment with you all. Hopefully I won't have to work another 1PM-1AM shift on Saturday next week.

Not only did we rock in MC but Gnomegeddon told me that our "Sons" strat was better then the one Roadkill uses and that we were "brutal" in there. He says if we can execute that same plan every week we will see Rag go down every week!

What is their strat? ours worked pretty well, think some of us were heading back to rag too soon or something though, aves kept dying and the last attempt I died because of 2 knockbacks back to back trying to get back into position

The one thing we need to work on in is transitioning back to Rag while there is still one or two sons up. If Rag respawns and the tank is not in place or nobody in melee range, he just nukes the raid from range, pretty much wiping it. We need to be sure that MTs are in position for sure during that transition. A bit more practice and we will have it.

Goblit and I figure we blew through over 1k gold in potions and other materials for that Rag fight. And that included about 300g worth of personal contributions. This doesn't included what others brought to the table.

You will find at this link lists of common consumables that you can bring to nearly any raid. Not everything on the list pertains to your class. If you are unable to farm some of the mats yourself, I suggest you farm gold in lieu and purchase items off the AH.

Also, if you loot the bosses and recieve Heart of Fires and Elemental Fires, could you please send them to redfire so that additional fire protection potions and enchants can be made available.
 
Have we started awarding dkp for consumables?

If not this is a good idea at this time. It will take a load off you and goblit.
