I'm looking for reviews on three games on sale on Steam until tomorrow: Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, Galcon Fusion, and Serious Sam HD: Double Pack.

I played the first (or was it the second?) Serious Sam game and had a good time with it. I'm hoping to find out (1) what those who've played the HD remakes think of it and (2) how many of you play the game online. There are some multiplayer games that I really enjoy but don't play nearly as often as I otherwise would because so few people in the CGA community play them.

EDIT: Just noticed The Scourge Project: Episodes 1 & 2 is on sale for $7.50. I don't think that's a 1-day deal, but I'd be interested to hear reviews from people who've played the game.

LaG is a decent shooter, you get a lot more value out of TF2 though. Five bucks isn't bad at all and they just released Dedicated Servers. If you like Westerns, go ahead. :p

/only guy with LaG T_T

I bought Galcon Fusion and the SSHD pack.

Galcon seems like a fun little time waster, though I would not expect a great deal of depth to it. It would probably be great for filling the time between other games, say for instance, while messing around in the Stratuday chatroom trying to settle on a more hardcore game.

I played the original two Serious Sams, and enjoyed them quite a bit. I would quite like to get some online co-op going for it one of these days, although as of yet I don't know how the remakes will run.

Red Faction: G is a VERY fun game if your PC is fairly beefy. If you love explosions or sandbox games, you'll love it a lot. ^_^

My PC is not very beefy. :(

I play games on a Dell Studio 1737 (yes, a laptop) running Windows 7 with 2GB RAM, a Mobility ATI Radeon 3650, and an Intel Core2 Duo T6400 (each core runs at 2.00GHz).

Would that be sufficient?

I'll take that as a no. >.>

Could always save it for your future PC...

EDIT: Or rent it on your future PS3... :D

The chances of that is about the same if you won a contest and got the prize. :(

Hmm... I bought Flatout: Ultimate Carnage.

Always did like Burnout 3 and Destruction Derby 64.
