I've told many of you that I'll be gone this weekend. I'm serving on an Emmaus team for Central Ohio mens walk #60.. For those of you who don't know about Emmaus, is it crafted after Luke 24:13-35 and is a 3 day weekend where pilgrims can touch and see the love of Jesus right in front of them. It is truly a powerful and life-changing experience.
As team members we are absolutely the hands and feet of God this weekend, and the experience of the pilgrims is in His hands through ours. I just ask you guys to give some time out of your weekend to pray for the team and the pilgrims.
(also, Emmaus is all over the US and outside our country, if you haven't been on a walk, I encourage you to find your local community and go http://www.upperroom.org/emmaus/ Emmaus is ecumenical, people come on these walks at all points during their walk with Jesus. My walk had pilgrims who gave their life to Jesus while on the weekend all the way up to tenured Clergy and everything in between)
