Purposed Guild runs in Silithus ...

Hey all, Kevin has been working his hiney off in Silithus and has reached revered! Yay! You have earned it! He has been working thru some strategies about engaging the 60s in the guild on a regular weekly event dealing specifically with Silithus ...

What is being proposed and I would like feedback on from all of you (this includes our non 60s please) is that we set aside Monday and Tuesday nights starting about 8 p.m.

Monday is to farm dukes in prep to do Lords on Tuesday with SGA. We should try for 15 dukes a night, we have been doing 12 to date. We should try to get each member to friendly. Kevin is willing to donate some twilight texts to do so once we get close. This will allow us to only use one signet for a sack of spoils. This will also help the guildie to advance in rep in prep for 1.9. We will then need to save signets (4 per Lord summon) for the Lords when we are ready to do that.

Tuesdays we are considering approaching join SGA and kill 6 Lords. While we are doing that we can maybe kill 5-10 dukes.

Thoughts ? Comments ?
 
We had a 15 duke night Monday night 11/28. The score was 13-2 ... we killed them 13 times and they killed us 2 times (ouch!). The snake/lightning storm boss got us twice and we got him once.

Thanks to all .. Samsun, Neirai, Ironwolfe, Osk, Randall, Malcolm, Wend, Zenoir, Deedlty, Stoneheart etc... who were able to make it.

We saw 7 (5 bop, 2 boe) or so blue items drop and 6 boe green items:
Blue Bop
2 2H sword (randall, stoneheart)
1 1H Axe (DE)
1 1H Mace (stoneheart)
1 Wand (wend ... yes a wand for wend!)
.... note these same items drop almost everytime, refer to silithus guide for details.

We also receive one blue bow (samsun) in a sack of spoils. A good time was had by all ... and it was alot of fun. Not only that, we all increased our rep for Cenarion Circle and talked about our silithus strategy on the next level bosses, the "Royal Lords". We are planning to do these with SGA, possibly on Tuesdays going forward, in a raid party of 20+.

We still have 101 crests and 32 shards in our SFI (Silithus Farming Inventory).

Well, we messed around in Silithus tonight ... Deedlty Randall Demetri ... along with a SGA priest Mith? We just farmed templars/camps for awhile then summoned the ever uber Zoltrix from SL for dps - and what dps we got! We took down two dukes with a 5 man team (water, fire) without too much trouble (quoting Randall "you sure we can do this"). It would have been scarier if the air elemental showed up. Deedlyt was shown up by Zoltrix's dps - and was drooling over gear on this uber +dam mage. Some day Deedlyt, someday ....

A green boe belt dropped (Mith) and blue boe abyssal leather striking pants (ironwolfe/randall) - grats shane. Earlier in day Osk did his one signet turn in for a sack of spoils only to get junk, including a jade (send to Deedlty! for jewelcrafting!). I turned three signets in tonight using the extra one I had in inventory along with the two we got tonight. No luck... more misc items. Some day we will see Deedlyt's cape and Zenoir's sword... someday....

However, our inventory sits at 3 medallions, 119 crests, and 30 shards ... as well as 55+ twilight set pieces. Who knows how many epics and upgrades are contained in these precious materials lol. Only time knows the answer!

I would like to suggest we just hit silithus Mon and Tues 8pm as hard as we can as suggested above, pulling in SGA folks as need for dukes if needed and working towards Lords asap. It is good for all of our CC rep, and the loot is helpful as well.

I will be helping our 50s and below the remainder of the week - msg me if you need help! Merrill's pally Grymorgan just hit 51 and arrived in Western Plaguelands ... a pally's paradise! If I were a skelly or ghoul, I would be very scared or his exorcism and holy wrath training! Baron Rivendare - here we come! Now drop your mount already...

Is that 8pm server time? If so, that would be ok with me. I would like to get to 60 though before really investing time into this, if that is ok. I am trying to sprint these last 6 levels:) Ken, however, gets up at 4:30a Mon-Thur, so he can't participate in anything much past 8p server time, as that is when he goes to bed.

54 ... whew you have been flying thru the levels. You need to get into Western Plaguelands, its the place to be. Lots of great quests and not as much traveling involved. I think we need to get some more BRD runs in for many of our 60s dont have their Onyxia line done and BRD is a 54+ area. I'll be keeping an eye out for you when we do this.
