Public Service Announcement from Odale.

canadian elections are not worth it, because the people who run for office are usually not the type of people I would want to run my country... And if I can vote for anyone I want, I don't think voting for god would be a popular decision =]

I voted.

Before I spotted this thread, I thought of making a thread titled The Big US Nov. 2008 "I Voted" Thread and asking people to post after they voted.

But this works, too. :D

Who do you think will win. The concensus here is that its a VP race, being as Obama will get shot within a month and McCain has about 6 months left in him..lol

Ouchie. Hardly a fair assessment. Security has improved drastically in the last 40 years. I don't think you'll see a JFK-repeat. McCain is also only a few months older than Regan was when he took office.

Who will win? I honestly don't know. Nor do I think we'll have the final answer for weeks. With all the rules regarding absentee ballots, instant voting, etc... some ballots will be counted as much as 21 days from now (and that's just Ohio). If it's close, it'll drag out for weeks.

I also have an uncle running for a Georgia Senate seat.

Lol it was funny when I went to vote today. Georgia (or the area where I live) had early voting from Oct 29-31 (I think) and all of those days the lines were PACKED!

So I get in my car today expecting to wait a few hours.... There was no line. There was absolutely no one in front of me. Craziness.

So, yeah... I voted :)

I voted, and as far as who will win the election, I don't really care. What I do care about though is how many Libertarian or Constitutionalist runners get elected locally. There were a surprising number of both on the Ballot. :D
