Redeemed is one of the longest lived guilds around. I believe that the reasons for this is that we can work through our troubles with God as our leader.
Being a member of a large guild brings certain benefits that being in a small guild doesn't. One of the benefits for progressive raiders is the ability of a large guild to provide services, gold (for repairs), items etc which a smaller guild could not provide. Also having the fun of guild chat and the fellowship plus much more.
A rumor of trying to get another co-guild for just progressive raiding has come to my ears. I would really hope that this isn't what you really want as there probably aren't enough 'raiders' to fill a guild, provide gold, and have a functioning raid without bringing in non-toj members. Having our Christian brothers and sisters as members around to support you in your faith is also a big consideration.
Yes, we have been having a bit of conflict, which is normal for there being a guild full of humans. If we were perfect, we wouldn't need Jesus (who was perfect) to die for us and lead us to our ultimate goal of live everlasting with Him as our King and you and me as brothers and sisters. As Christians, I would hope that we all realize that each and every one of us is still growing, learning, loving and we all have feelings. Learning to be with people who you have a conflict with is important. You'll never be able to be best friends with everyone you meet and associate with. Even the disciples had conflict and had to resolve it. None of them were perfect and I'm sure they made their mistakes (Peter denying Christ? That must have hurt Peter when he finally realized what he did) and Christ did not give up on Peter. When we make mistakes are we going to be cast down forever for them, or given a chance to learn, grow and become good friends with those who might not otherwise be good friends unless you open your heart and give chances.
Please give the guild a chance. We just got the Guild Leaders in place and as one of the Guild leaders, I would like to see a good set up for Progressive Raiding come about as soon as possible. Alhana, Bill and I have not actually had a chance to talk, but I know from the few conversations we've had that progressive raiding is important to the guild, just as other stuff is also. We need that chance to set it up for you all. The other thing you need to realize in raiding, is that this time of year has always been hard on raiding. People go on vacations etc, so there might be some upheavals finding full groups. Give Redeemed a chance to bounce back, give each other the love we all want and desire as Christians and help us become the wonderful guild it has always been.
