Preference of your Posterior

What type of chair do you use? I'm looking for a good one with lower back and neck support. Preferably something with a foot rest. I spend close to 7 hours a day at my computer working and in the evening playing Starcraft 2 or Guild Wars. Needless to say the old beat up giant plastic enema/torture rack I'm currently using wont cut it.

I'd like something similar to this...

... but way less expensive.

Any recommendations or ones I should avoid?

I'd watch sale bills for office supply stores, too. Sometimes Office Depot has really good sales on chairs.

Not a chair but one thing I'd recommend is spending a few minutes working out your "core" muscles...abs/lower back/etc. Assuming you are physically able, pushups, leg lifts, etc. will usually take care of most pain you have sitting.

Plus, the price is right. :)

Was using a hand me down from Office depot that my Dad was using 6 years ago before he died. Wife used one from who knows where until it started wearing out. So a few days ago her brother gave us a better seated chair that had the legs broken. We took her chair and matched it with that to create Frankenchair, which she didn't like much because it kept her seated too far away from keyboard. So she took Dad's chair and gave me Frankenchair. Frankenchair barely fits it my hidey hole, but is very comfy, so recommend recycle to a Frankenchair.;)

Yes, and don't forget to add a brain to your frankenchair to make it intelligent! I have one here, Abby-something.
