Prayers

Deuteronomy

We just got off the phone with my Sister, and it doesn't look good for my Dad. The Doctors' told my Mother that he had a massive heart attack, and that fluid is building up. Dede is making reservations as we speak, so we will be out of town for the foreseeable future.

Please pray for my Dad and my Family.

First, and most importantly, I want to thank you all for your prayers, both those who responded and those who didn't but still prayed.

At 10:14 this morning, Eastern Time, Eugene R. Sanders, a great man and Christian, went to be with the Lord. He was literally blind, but now he sees the Glory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, the Christ. He has been deaf in one ear since he was 12, but now he hears the Choir of Angels singing praises to our Lord. Even though my heart is breaking, and it is very hard to write this, I truly know in my heart that he is no longer suffering as we do on this earth, and I am happy for him.

Deut,

I'm so sorry to hear this. My grandfather died about 1-2 years ago and it was a tough time. :(

Jesus, I ask you to fill this man with your Spirit and give him and his family peace and comfort through this time. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I'm so sorry, but I understand the mix of sweetness and sorrow. I lost both my parents within a year. I thank the Lord that they both came to know Him within months of their passing. He is so good!! Praying that you (and yours) know His comfort is always available.

May God give you and your family that sweet peace and grace that only He can provide in the dark times.

Praise God that though the way is narrow, there are still those who take it, heeding the call of God in this life, that they might spend eternity with Him!!

Duet called me from West Virginia this afternoon while I was sitting in Del Taco. He told me the details of his fathers last hours and I was crying right in the middle of Del Taco. I will let him detail it out, but it was awesome! God is truly with us.
