To all that have been keeping Daniel in their prayers thought I'd give an update. Quick background Daniel is my cousin's 3 1/2 year old little boy who was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive brain cancer with an incredibly high mortality rate. He just underwent radiation and chemo treatment 4 weeks ago and just had an MRI to see how the cancer responded to the treatment. The good news is the tumor didn't grow any bigger and may have started to breakdown in the center. It didn't shrink which was what his parents really wanted to hear, but this is a better result than the doctor was expecting after the first round of treatment. He will undergo another round of treatment starting next week.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

Praise the Lord!! I will be praying for Daniel and thanks for keeping us updated...I must have missed your original prayer request.

I am glad to hear that the first round had positive results:) I will continue to pray for Daniel and his family. Thanks for the update:)

That's wonderful news! I will definitely keep him in my prayers, and his family as well.

I am extremely glad to hear the good news. I will continue to pray for Daniel and will wait anxiously to hear that the tumor has been defeated.

Daniel's tumor has started to grow again. There is yet another new experimental treatment that he is going to start. Additionally the priest in my cousin's parish has recommended that they have a special ceremony to bestow the Sacrament of Confirmation upon Daniel. (For those that don't know Confirmation in the Catholic Church is a Sacrament within the Catholic faith that happens typically at the age of maturity and is the individual accepting their Baptismal vows and is meant to deepen the Grace bestowed by the Holy Spirit received at Baptism.) God has blessed us by keeping Daniel with us for as long as he has, please join me and my family in thanking God for His grace and blessings, and join with the prayer of Daniel's Mother:

"We invite every to say a prayer this Saturday around 3 pm. (Central Time) for God to grant extra grace to Daniel and if it is his will to use the new medicine he is taking to heal him of this tumor and restore his health."

Well, it's not Saturday at 3 pm, but I know I serve a God that is outside time!

Heavenly Father -- we call you Father because you truly are a parent who truly loves your children. We know that you will do the best thing for Daniel. So we ask that your will be done in his life. We ask that your grace, love, and mercy would shine through this situation so that, no matter what happens, all those who see the situation will say to themselves: "Wow... God really loves us."

Let all the glory go to you, Father, and give us the strength to abide with your will.

In the name of Jesus, who cared for even the littlest children, AMEN!
