Prayer/Praise *I totaled my car*

I totaled my car tonight. The cop said it was a miracle i was alive. I fell asleep on the express way (cruise control set on 65) and i went off the side of the road. I flipped my car once, and i went into the woods. My car was literally sandwitched between trees (all 4 doors were jammed shut because of trees.) My phone was dead, but God let me call out to 911 a few times (my phone would usually have not even powered up) My phone kept dieing while i was trying to talk to the operator (stupid phone gave me an operator in a different state! *i was in ohio about 5 minutes from KY (where i'm from) and where the operator was from* well, i sat in my car *T-shirt and shorts* in 35 degree's for probably 15 minutes before the first cop found my car (like i said i was in the woods, the cops passed me a few times and i was helpless) he said he didn't expect to find anyone responding to his calls. the cops and the fireman tried to open my back driver side door (the only door that i could open *i had it open about 8 inches* but with no prevail. i finally was able to get out through my trunk *had 3 guys pulling me out the trunk* and i walked away from the accident. My left leg/knee is swollen really huge. it kills to walk. a few other minor injuries. God saved me tonight though. the cops said i should't have survived. the fireman said i shouldn'tve survived. I'm just writing this to let you guys know. and to show how God saved me tonight. It was only through my faith that I was able to survive. I always pray when i'm traveling (my girlfriend lives about 85 minutes away and i was coming home from her house) for safety. I am just posting this as a praise. and I am asking for prayer for my mom and my family. they are pretty shook up. also for my girlfriend, she hasn't heard about the wreck yet but i know once she does she'll be worried. and also I ask that you pray for me. that i recover quickly and that everything works out.

Praise the Lord!!! Glad your ok. Amazing what God is going to do with your life being that it's spared for His glory.
Sleep is extremely hard to overcome while driving. Even in your own driveway. I almost took out my heatpump several times. :)
 
lol... well... thing is, i was fine, and i don't know how i fell asleep... i was awake the whole time =S :( but God was with me. I should'nt have survived the wreck.
 
ugh... well... wrecking is expensive :( i had to pay 135 for the towing, 104 for the ticket *in the state of Ohio if you get in a wreck you get a ticket* God was with me though. I'm really sore today... Thanks for your prayers.
 
Smiles good to hear you're ok and how awesome it is to hang tight to your faith. I would appreciate it if you would also post this in the prayer and praise forum.

And I'm sorry to hear about your knee, and I still can't believe that you'd get a 104 dollar ticket for being in a wreck...
