Prayer for a friend

My best friend tried to kill herself last night after her husband told her he didn't want to be married to her anymore--and didn't even want to try to do counseling because "it's not worth it". I spent a few hours on the phone with her last night and I thought I'd left her on a better note, but I guess not. She's in a local hospital, but otherwise I don't know anything. I think her phone access may have been restricted because I can't get a hold of her.

Please pray--not only that God would protect her, but also that He would heal the emotional, spiritual and physical wounds that her husband has so carelessly inflicted upon her.

I found out which hospital she's at and I have plans to visit her as soon as her mom calls me back. She's having blood work done every hour to make sure her kidneys are okay, but the nurses say that the prognosis isn't good and that her kidneys could fail.
 
She's doing better physically =). Her kidneys are fine; it's like nothing happened to them and the doctors were surprised.

Sorry I didn't update right away. Finals week hit. Thanks for the prayers.
